Dead Is Dead
Synopsis
Before you watch
Dead Is Dead aired on April 8, 2009. Stephen Williams directed, and Brian K. Vaughan wrote it with Elizabeth Sarnoff. It is the last of Vaughan’s seven Lost scripts.
Where things stand: the group has argued over saving young Ben, and Kate has explained her reason for returning. In the present, the Oceanic Six have returned, and the Island is no calmer than they left it.
This is Ben’s third episode as the main focus, after The Man Behind the Curtain and The Shape of Things to Come. The Smoke Monster judges him, and his history with the Island is deepened. Ben has spent four seasons telling people what the Island wants. Here the show turns that question back on him. Michael Emerson has carried some of the best hours of the series, and this is one of them.
