Cabin Fever

CentricJohn Locke

Synopsis

Before you watch

Cabin Fever aired on May 8, 2008. Paul Edwards directed, and Elizabeth Sarnoff wrote it with Kyle Pennington, in the first of his two Lost scripts.

Where things stand: Jack has needed emergency surgery on the Island, and we have seen a glimpse of his future with Kate. The mercenaries have attacked the Barracks. Back in the third season, Ben took Locke deep into the jungle to meet someone, and Locke has been looking for direction ever since. The origin of Locke’s paralysis came out in The Man from Tallahassee.

Locke goes looking for instructions at a cabin in the jungle, and his destiny is shown from the day he was born. It is Locke’s first episode as the focus this season. This is the deepest look yet at where Locke came from, so if you have wondered why he is so sure the Island chose him, this hour is for you. There are three episodes left after this one.
