Synopsis

Something Nice Back Home aired on May 1, 2008. Stephen Williams directed his twentieth episode, and Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz wrote it.
Where things stand: the mercenaries from the freighter have attacked the Barracks, and Ben’s activities off the Island are no longer a secret from the audience. The survivors are still split into two camps, and the freighter is still the only way off the Island that anyone can see.
Jack needs emergency surgery on the Island, and his future with Kate is shown. The only surgeon on the Island being the one who needs an operation is the kind of problem this show loves. It is Jack’s first episode as the focus this season. Watch how the people around him cope without the man they usually lean on. Juliet, the other person on the Island with medical training, has been with the main camp since One of Us.
