Every Man for Himself
Synopsis
Before you watch
Every Man for Himself aired on October 25, 2006. Stephen Williams directed again, and Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz wrote it, their sixth script together.
Where things stand: Locke has woken after the implosion and gone on a vision quest, and the survivors on the beach are trying to work out what happened to the Hatch. Out of reach of camp, Jack, Kate and Sawyer are prisoners of the Others, and Sun and Jin have been through a test of their own.
This is Sawyer’s episode. Ben plays a psychological game with him, and there is a shocking revelation about where they all are. Sawyer has been a con man, a hoarder and a reluctant hero by now, and he has never been someone who sits still in a cell. This was the fourth week of a six-episode autumn run, so the season is gathering speed.
