The Long Con

The Long Con aired on February 8, 2006, after a two-week break. Roxann Dawson, the actor who played B’Elanna Torres on Star Trek: Voyager, directed her only Lost episode. Leonard Dick and Steven Maeda wrote it.

Where things stand: Charlie has been having disturbing visions about Aaron, and his rockstar past has come back to the surface. The Others have drawn a line, and the camp is starting to think about how it would defend itself.

This is Sawyer’s fourth episode as the focus, after Confidence Man, Outlaws and Adrift. The setup is clear: Sawyer pulls off a masterful con to gain control of the camp’s weapons. The title tells you the kind of story it is. Sawyer has been the man nobody trusts since the first week, and this is a show that likes to test whether people really change. Watch the small moments.
