What Kate Did
Synopsis
Before you watch
What Kate Did aired on November 30, 2005, the last new episode for six weeks. Paul Edwards directed the first of his ten Lost episodes, and Steven Maeda wrote it with Craig Wright.
Where things stand: Ana Lucia has faced the consequences of what happened, and the two groups of survivors are merging uneasily. The story of the tail section has been told from its beginning, and the Hatch and its orientation film are still the biggest puzzles in camp.
This is Kate’s fifth episode as the focus, after Pilot (Part 2), Tabula Rasa, Whatever the Case May Be and Born to Run. The title asks the question the show has kept open since the first week: her original crime is revealed, and another part of the orientation film turns up. Off-Island scenes were filmed at the Laʻie Inn on the Windward side, a small motel across from the Polynesian Cultural Center known for the pineapple carved on its doors.
