Collision
Synopsis
Before you watch
Collision aired on November 23, 2005, the night before Thanksgiving. Stephen Williams directed, and Javier Grillo-Marxuach wrote it with Leonard Dick. It is the sixth and last Lost script by Grillo-Marxuach, who had been with the show since the first season.
Where things stand: the story of the tail section survivors has been told from the beginning, and the two groups have finally met. Shannon has had her episode, and the people from the front of the plane are still taking in that there were other survivors all along.
This is Ana Lucia’s own hour, after The Other 48 Days put her among the five people at its centre. She faces consequences, and the two groups merge uneasily. The title is a fair description of what happens when two sets of survivors with very different six weeks behind them have to share one Island.
