Synopsis
Before you watch
Follow the Leader aired on May 6, 2009. Stephen Williams directed his 26th and last Lost episode, second only to Jack Bender. Paul Zbyszewski and Elizabeth Sarnoff wrote it.
Where things stand: Daniel Faraday has come back with a radical plan to change the future. The group in 1977 has been holding its cover for a long time, and the Oceanic Six are back on the Island in the present.
The focus is spread across Jack, Locke, Kate and Sawyer. Jack commits to Daniel’s plan, and Locke takes charge of the Others. The title is the name of a children’s game, and the episode asks who is actually leading whom. Jack and Locke have argued about the Island since the first season, and they are no closer to agreeing. There are two parts of the finale left after this, so it is a good time to clear your evening.
