Synopsis

Before you watch

There’s No Place Like Home (Part 3) is the second hour of the finale night of May 29, 2008, and the end of the fourth season. Jack Bender directed, and Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof wrote it.

Where things stand: the Island has been moved, and the Oceanic Six have escaped. Their cover story was agreed before they left. Everything the season has built since the freighter appeared on the horizon has come to a head in a single night.

All you are told is that this is the finale’s final revelation, and that Jeremy Bentham is identified. It is the last piece of the season, and the last thing to see before the long wait. The fifth season did not begin until January 21, 2009, so the first audience lived with this ending for nearly eight months. You do not have to. Once it ends, the season page has the whole of the fourth year, and the next episode is ready whenever you are.
