Synopsis

The Man Behind the Curtain aired on May 9, 2007. Bobby Roth directed, the first of his three Lost episodes, and Elizabeth Sarnoff and Drew Goddard wrote it. The title points to The Wizard of Oz.
Where things stand: Locke has come back to camp with a request for Sawyer, and a connection between two characters has been revealed. Sun is facing a deadly dilemma, and Juliet is living among the survivors. Ben has kept his own story to himself since the castaways first met him.
This is Ben’s first episode at the centre. His origin on the Island is revealed, and he takes Locke to meet someone. Michael Emerson told the official magazine he had waited a long time for this one. The show has asked who Ben is since the moment he arrived, and here it starts to answer.
