Synopsis

Before you watch

Exposé aired on March 28, 2007. Stephen Williams directed, and Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz wrote it, their eighth script together.

Where things stand: Locke has confronted Ben at the Barracks, and the origin of his paralysis is out. Claire sent her rescue message, and the survivors at camp are spread thinner than ever across the Island.

This is a different kind of episode: the story of two previously unseen survivors comes to a dark conclusion. Not every survivor of the crash has had their turn so far, and the show has been aware of that. Some of the Island scenes went back to Waimea Valley on the North Shore, where the first season shot some of its jungle. Kitsis and Horowitz later told the official magazine how they approached it.
