The Glass Ballerina

Synopsis

Before you watch

The Glass Ballerina aired on October 11, 2006. Paul Edwards directed, and Jeff Pinkner, who came to the show from Alias, wrote it with Drew Goddard. It is Pinkner’s first of four Lost scripts and Goddard’s second.

Where things stand: Jack, Kate and Sawyer are being held by the Others, whose community the season opener showed for the first time. Back with the survivors, the second season ended with Desmond’s return by sailboat and the button’s truth put to the test, and a lot of people are now missing from camp.

This one belongs to Sun and Jin, together at the centre. They face a test on the sailboat, and the prisoners are put to work. Pinkner later sat down with the official magazine to talk about joining the writers’ room. Keep an eye on Sun. The show has spent two seasons teaching you to underestimate her.
