Lockdown
Synopsis
Before you watch
Lockdown aired on March 29, 2006. Stephen Williams directed, and Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof wrote it.
Where things stand: Sun has discovered surprising news, and the camp has been checking the story of Henry Gale, the man who says he came to the Island in a balloon. Claire has recovered memories of her kidnapping, and the Hatch remains the centre of camp life.
This is Locke’s fourth episode as the focus, after Walkabout, Deus Ex Machina and Orientation. He is trapped in the Hatch during a lockdown, and a hidden map is revealed. That map became one of the most studied images of the whole series. The official magazine later printed a pull-out copy so readers could pore over it. Look closely when it appears.
