Exodus (Part 3)

Exodus (Part 3) is the second hour of the finale night of May 25, 2005, and the end of the first season. Jack Bender directed, and Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse wrote it.

Where things stand: everything the season has been building towards is in motion. The raft is at sea, the expedition is out in the jungle, and the Hatch has been the Island’s biggest question since All the Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues.

All this hour promises is the aftermath of the season’s climactic events, and that is all you should know. Season 2 did not begin until September 21, 2005, so the first audience sat with this ending for four months. You can be kinder to yourself.
