The Greater Good

The Greater Good aired on May 4, 2005, and starts the four-week run to the end of the season. David Grossman directed his only Lost episode, and Leonard Dick wrote it.

Where things stand: Jack has been fighting to save a life, and a new one has arrived on the Island. Sayid has questions about what Locke and Boone were doing out in the jungle, and he is not someone who drops a question.

This is Sayid’s second episode as the focus, after Solitary, and he looks into Locke’s part in what happened. Tension in camp rises with it. The Laniākea YWCA in downtown Honolulu is back as an off-Island filming spot. Watch Locke and Sayid in the same frame here. They are the two people in camp most sure of their own judgement.
