Synopsis
Before you watch
The Package aired on March 30, 2010. Paul Edwards directed, and Paul Zbyszewski and Graham Roland wrote it, their second script together.
Where things stand: Richard Alpert’s origin has been told, and the show has finally said something about what the Island is for. Sawyer is playing both sides, the Man in Black is gathering people, and Jin and Sun have spent most of the show either together or trying to get back to each other.
This is Jin and Sun’s episode: opposing forces keep them apart, and Widmore’s package is revealed. Their story has been one of the show’s steadiest threads since House of the Rising Sun in the first season. Yunjin Kim and Daniel Dae Kim have played it across six years, and the flash-sideways gives them a different version of that marriage to work with.
