Synopsis
Before you watch
Ji Yeon aired on March 13, 2008. It is the directing debut of Stephen Semel, the show’s longtime editor, who cut Walkabout in the first season and won an American Cinema Editors award for Outlaws. Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz wrote it. Semel later recorded its DVD commentary with Daniel Dae Kim and Yunjin Kim.
Where things stand: Juliet has had a message from Ben, and Daniel and Charlotte have gone to the Tempest station. Sun has been carrying what she learned about her baby’s father since D.O.C., and the freighter is still the only way anyone can see off the Island.
Sun and Jin’s stories are told side by side, with a twist in the timeline. It is the first episode this season built around the two of them, and the couple have come a long way since the first season, when they kept apart from everyone. Pay attention to how the two stories line up.
