Synopsis

Before you watch

Catch-22 aired on April 18, 2007. Stephen Williams directed, and Jeff Pinkner wrote it with Brian K. Vaughan, best known for the comic Y: The Last Man. It is Vaughan’s first of seven Lost scripts. The title comes from the Joseph Heller novel.

Where things stand: Juliet has joined the main camp, and the survivors are deciding what to make of her. Desmond’s experience in the Hatch was revealed earlier this season, along with the idea that time itself may be broken.

This is Desmond’s episode: he has a vision of a parachutist arriving on the Island. It is his first episode at the centre since Flashes Before Your Eyes. Off-Island scenes went back to the Cathedral of St. Andrew in downtown Honolulu, a filming spot since the first season. Henry Ian Cusick and Emilie de Ravin both talked about this one with the official magazine. Desmond’s friends have learned to take him seriously.
