The episode called ? aired on May 10, 2006. Yes, the title is just a question mark. Deran Sarafian directed his only Lost episode, and Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse wrote it.
Where things stand: Michael has come back with a plan, and shocking violence erupted in the Hatch. Locke saw a hidden map during the lockdown, and one mark on it has been bothering him ever since.
This is Eko’s second episode as the focus, after The 23rd Psalm. Eko and Locke search for the question mark from the blast door map, which explains the title. The pairing is the point: two men who both believe the Island wants something from them, but who do not agree on what. It is the second-to-last week of the season, and the show is setting its pieces in place.
