Every answer gives points to the thinkers whose ideas it follows most closely. Some answers lean two ways at once, because real choices do.
This is a toy, not a philosophy exam. Each of these thinkers wrote far more than a paragraph can hold, and good readers still argue about what they meant. If you want the argument, the themes pages are a good place to start.
