Kind of a side note, but what about the whole thing regarding Sawyer's foot? They showed it twice in this episode ("Because You Left / The Lie")... could it possibly have some significance? I mean maybe it goes unnoticed since the fact that he doesn't wear a shirt for half of episode might take precedence. Some connection to the foot statue maybe? I thought we were going to be learning a bit about that statue in an episode to come so it maybe a little far fetched, but I just though it was interesting.

Speaking of feet, in the all-cast promotional photo for this season, Daniel Faraday is missing a foot.
I remember noticing that Miles was missing a foot as well:

Is it possible that both Miles and Faraday were in the process of time-traveling somewhere else and in the rush of things their foots didn't make it through in time?
