Halloween

Just a friendly reminder to all my co-workers, Halloween is just around the corner. Also, it's on a Friday! So, you should probably be thinking of a genius costume. If for no other reason, do it in memory of Chris, who LOVED Halloween and coming up with the most ridiculous (sometimes shocking) costumes ever!

You don't have to be a Lost character, but I thought, since this is a Lost blog, here are some clever costumers. Also, be warned, if you do show up without a costume, we'll be ripping the sleeves of your shirt, rubbing dirt on your face and calling you a flight 815 survivor.

For those of you that are really starting to feel the painful effects of months without Lost, lostpedia.com has been hosting a read-a-long plan with books featured in and mysteriously tied to Lost. September's book is "Lord of the Flies" (which is pretty short). October is "Slaughterhouse-Five" (deals with some mind-numbing time travel).

Cheaters Sometime Prosper

Guys where are we on the third Dharma Test "Dexterity and Attentiveness Evaluation"? A number of cheats have been unearthed. Most can be viewed at darkUFO.

One that is only semi-cheating, is the "lento" cheat, where you simply find a spare second (right after the game begins) and type "lento" to slow the bouncing balls down. After a few tries I managed to get 100%… however, I'm still in the same grouping that I was in at first (perhaps they only go by your initial score, which would render these cheats useless to those that have played multiple times). I think I got 39% my first try (cheat free). I was placed in Antaeus.

Give it go… There are also some more extensive cheats if that one isn't good enough.
