To be honest, I don't have too many tie-ins to this (I voted for Walt), but in the spirit of giving the people what they want– nay– demand, I will oblige.
Sayid, or as his fellow castaways call him, "that iraqi dude", is smart and probably as good a leader as Jack. He's often found fixing things and has an expansive knowledge of some highly useful things. Just as "that giant dude" (aka Alex) is skilled in the ways of Flash, putting together push images, Sayid pieces together a broken transceiver with spare airplane parts. How handy they both are. Sayid is haunted by a cat from his past, Alex has a haunted cat. Sayid has a tan and a funny accent, so does Alex (j/k)! They're both pretty level-headed and liked by all. And please, let's not forget the similarity in flowing curly locks… Good people of Lostville, please give a hearty island hand to: Saylexid (total alien name). (Sorry Dirk, I know you wanted to be Sayid.)

If only I worked as a interrogator at some point in my life - Sayid and I would be pretty much the same person. (except for the long hair - but I was thinking about growing mine out anyway).
