What qualifies an episode to receive the beloved moniker, "Finale"? Is it the rate of shocks per minute, or the massive, life-altering, mind-blowing, game-changing twist, or perhaps the cliff hanger that you would literally jump of a cliff to view the next 5 minutes of film for?
Who knows? I don't. I hope it is all of the above, because if it is, friends, we are in for 3 solid hours of elevated blood pressure come May.
I think the good people at Lost really do love us. Instead of the scant 5 post-WGA-strike episodes we thought we were getting, we're now being blessed with 3 episodes, a one-hour (part 1) finale, and two weeks later a hearty 2 hour (part 2) finale.
For those of you challenged in the math department, that means we're getting 6 hours of mouth-watering, tear-jerking, heart-warming, brain-incinerating Lost, instead of the previously-believed 5 hours.
The public outcry of disdain for ABC and their initial plan of giving Grey's (who cares) Anatomy a two-hour finale and pushing the tail-end of our beloved Lost into 2 one hour season finales has been heard.
It must be a serious finale too, because while the remaining episodes are airing consecutively (one per week) the one-hour and two-hour finales are separated by two weeks. I suppose we'll need that time to lower our collective blood pressure to a safe level and then get all riled up again.
Here's the official breakdown of the remainder of season 4.
Episode 4.09 - 24th April 10pm-11pm
Episode 4.10 - 1st May 10pm-11pm
Episode 4.11 - 8th May 10pm-11pm
Episode 4.12 - 15th May (Finale Part 1) 10pm-11pm
Episode 4.13 - 29th May (Finale Part 2 and 3) 9pm-11pm

Yes the LOST gods to listen, this makes up for everything we have lost, literally, to the WGA strike. So take that Grey's (who cares) Anatomy.
Love this blog… compared to all the other online offers I get to “greatly enhance” all my experiences in life, this blog continues to deliver life changing (programming) information. A big THANK YOU to Al Gore for inventing the internet!
